How long does it take a repo to populate with code?

Crowdbotics Heroku invitation gave me an error.

This is the command which I have to run

heroku git:clone -a gauravcoinmonkscom-gaurav-629

got

warning: You appear to have cloned an empty repository.

It was an empty repo after cloning though git repo is not empty

Repos usually generate code within a few seconds, and after you clone them, they will be nonempty.
