Unable to add environment variables in CB dash

@Crowdbotics_Dan - mobile builds have failed, but the backend seems to be working. Are env vars blocked until backend is successful or until all builds are successful?

@dmitrii.k Turns out the builds were working fine, but CB dash was showing the mobile apps status as failed for some reason. I just deployed the app again, and the status changed to “success” for all platforms. I was able to add the env vars as well.

It seems like failing mobile builds are causing this issue. Would be great if we can make the backend functionality work independently of mobile apps status in CB dash :slight_smile:

Yes. We’re working on ensuring that backend and frontend statuses are not just independent, but that they impact the UI correctly too.

@kalpit, I’m glad the issue was resolved!

As @charath mentioned, stay tuned for a coming update to the platform that allows setting env vars as long as there is a successful backend build.
